Be thankful for what you have

Today, I found out the saddest thing possible. A man I knew was found dead in an alley. I was devastated for the many people who knew him. He was very shy and self reserved. Poor man did not have family nearby and you would see him very sad and lonely all the time. This tragic story made me realize that we should not take for granted what we have because others may want what we have. This poor man did not have his family and died by himself in an alley. He was found by people who happened to go by there the following day. Poor man he suffered so much when he was alive. He did not have a decent job, place to stay and was apparently ill.I think to all of us it is important to have our family and our friends close by. No one likes to be alone. I feel awful that this man had to die by himself. When that time comes in my life I wish my loved ones will be there by my side. My prayers go to his family in Mexico and everyone who will remember him. He is now resting in peace.

  1. Wow, I love your graphics, the psychedelic butterflies are great. Everytime I walk out my front door down the sidewalk to the carport, I am blessed with flocks of butterflies, usually yellow and orange, but this morning I saw a monarch with the black markings and a bright yellow butterfly. I think my neighbors passion flower vines attract them, as well as both of our Mexican Petunias and blue plumbago bushes.

The seagulls are a lovely tribute to the poor man who died alone. This is a tragedy that should not ever happen in a civilized society! This is very sad. We lead such busy lives, many times we do not realize how much difference a kind word or deed might make in someone else's life. Thanks for sharing so that we all may be blessed with gratefulness and concern for humanity. May he rest in peace.
